Awafaeita is a creative venture run by Glasgow School of Art trained artist Sheelagh M Dornan. The name Awafaeita comes from the Scots for away from it all, which describes the artists home, which is based on the wee Island of Iona, off the west coast of Scotland. Sheelagh has a love for the sea and through her work wants to share her vision. Her work is all about process and use of strong visual contrasts.
