I am a photographer and farmer living on the Isle of Mull. I am working on a project – Fangan – recording the stone fanks of Mull and surrounding islands (Iona, Ulva, Gometra, Erraid, Inch Kenneth) using a drone. Fank: sheepfold; sheep pen; stell; stall; turf stell; bucht; stell enclosure. I have always been interested in aerial photography and this project has given me the chance to explore the textures, shapes and colours within and beyond these walls, and to place them within their differing landscapes.
