Using chainsaw and chisels, Lisa creates original sculptural pieces, that are inspired by the surrounding landscape, the ever-changing days by the shore, and by the wood itself. For Lisa, the great thing about carving wood, is the simplicity of the act, the satisfaction of hidden layers being revealed, creating shape and form. It becomes a mediative practice for her.
