Ross of Mull Poets are a collective of eight local writers, with very different backgrounds and style – meeting to share work in progress, or to organise workshops or readings. Several of us are published elsewhere, and we have collaborated on two poetry pamphlets and a CD (Mullings), but we particularly enjoy sharing the spoken word in a lively way, whether in a community hall, the pub or on the beach. Our latest chapbook ‘Edges’, published by Hybrid Press, carries this commendation from Kevin Cadwallender: ‘One of the best writers’ groups in Scotland if not the UK.
