Ardalanish Weavers

Weaving mill with working heritage looms, Mill shop selling woven goods such as blankets scarves and shawls.

Ardalanish is a 1500 acre farm raising Highland cattle and native Hebridean sheep. We use the dark wool from our Hebridean sheep and also native breed fleeces from other farmers for our weaving and as knit yarn. Visitors can see our working heritage looms working in the weaving shed and outside there is a dye garden where we grow many of the plants which we use for our natural dyes.

Browse in our shop and see the finished work produced from our fleeces and also we keep a stock of homebred beef and lamb in our freezers – ideal for a barbeque or to take home at the end of your holiday.

Take the short walk to the beach or a stroll up the hill to see the wild but beautiful scenery and you may meet up with some Highland Cattle or Hebridean sheep.
