Calgary Art in Nature woodland sculpture walk has been created over the last thirty years by artist and owner of Calgary Arts, Matthew Reade and his wife Julia. The walk leads from Calgary Arts to the beach with wonderful views over Calgary Bay. The woodland can be experienced over three levels each populated with sculptures created by local artists, the community and visiting artists. Our latest addition to the woods is The Tower created during lockdown in 2020 by Matthew Reade. There is an abundance of wildflowers, woodland plants and wildlife. Over the years the woodlands have been a venue for live events. A leaflet and map are available at the Visitors Centre and at information points in the woods.
