What had been a vision for many years finally became a reality in 2020 with the creation of GiftNess. My very own dedicated creative space situated in the garden of my house in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.
My husband built a new bespoke workshop for me but I preferred the old shed at the back of the garden, I just needed to add my own personal touch to it!
The shed was upcycled in 2020 as part of a Lockdown Project, to create what is now a warm, creative space filled with textiles from all around the world. Its shabby chic interior is reflected in the choice of designs and textiles used to create GiftNess products. With textiles used to line the ceiling, the GiftNess workshop has created the perfect environment to work in whilst allowing me to open the doors to those that are passing for a look inside.
