This is an alert to all artists that the competition entries will be displayed and judged in Tobermory during the days before the Games on Thursday 21st July 2022. Winners will be displayed on the field on Games day.

The judges will select up to five of the 2d entries for submission to the inaugural Highland Art Prize exhibition and competition as part of the Royal National Mòd, scheduled to take place in Perth from 14th-22nd October 2022 at the City Contemporary Art Gallery in Perth. The Highland Art Prize will award a cash prize of £1,000 for the winning artwork (to be shared between the artist and his/her corresponding Art Association or gallery), and it is hoped that there will be a subsequent mentoring or exhibition opportunity for the winning artist through a national institution.

Administration: All entries should be delivered to Tobermory on Friday 8th July (Or by prior arrangement). Details of location in Tobermory will be communicated well in advance. All entries will be displayed in Tobermory from Monday 11th July until 21st. Entries may be offered for sale subject to artists wishes; with sales being completed after judging.
All entries should be ready for hanging / display, labelled with name age, title of entry and sale price if applicable.
